The Hajj الحجHajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. It is a special journey for Muslims. It happens once every year in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. Dhu al-Hijjah is the last month in the Islamic calendar. Muslims from many countries travel to Makkah in Saudi Arabia. Men wear white clothes. Muslims walk around the Kaaba seven times. They visit Mount Arafat and stay there until sunset. Hajj teaches Muslims to be kind and patient. It also teaches them to be thankful and close to Allah.
الحج هو الركن الخامس من أركان الإسلام، وهو رحلة مميزة للمسلمين. الحج مرة واحدة في السنة في شهر ذي الحجة، وهو الشهر الأخير من التقويم الإسلامي. يسافر المسلمون من مختلف البلدان إلى مكة المكرمة في المملكة العربية السعودية. يرتدي الرجال ملابس بيضاء. يطوف المسلمون حول الكعبة سبع مرات. يزورون جبل عرفات ويبقون فيه حتى غروب الشمس. يعلّم الحج المسلمين أن يكونوا لطفاء وصبورين. يُعلّمهم أيضا أن يكونوا شاكرين و قريبين من الله تعالى.
